Drywall patched, caulk replaced, rot cut out — then painted, so the finish is not sitting on a problem.
Colour changes
Dark to light takes more coats than the tin suggests. We will tell you how many it will actually need.
Scope
How the work goes
Northwest weather sets the exterior calendar. We watch the forecast rather than the schedule: paint applied to damp siding or in the wrong temperature fails early, and nobody wins that argument with the weather.
- Surfaces washed and left to dry properly before anything is applied
- Loose paint scraped, glossy surfaces dulled so the new coat has something to grip
- Holes filled, gaps caulked, failed caulk cut out rather than painted over
- Bare and patched areas spot-primed; stains blocked so they do not bleed through
- Floors, fittings and plants covered — inside and out
- Two finish coats unless the colour change needs more, which we say before we start
- Tools packed and the site cleaned at the end of each day

1. Contact
Call, text a photo, or send the form. Most requests get an answer in about two hours.
2. Estimate
We look at the work in person, measure and photograph it, and put a written price in your hands at no charge.
3. Work
Materials bought, floors covered, work done stage by stage. Nothing important changes without a call.
4. Finish
Final details, a clean site, and a walkthrough together before we call it done.

What changes the price
Two rooms of the same size can be very different jobs, and almost all of the difference is in the preparation.
- The condition underneath. Sound walls need less than walls that have to be filled and sanded first
- How much repair comes before the paint — patching, caulk, rot
- Ceilings included or walls only
- Trim and doors, which are slow work however small the room looks
- The colour change. Covering a dark wall with a pale one is more coats
- Access outside: single storey, two storeys, or ladders over a slope
- Paint choice. We will use what you want and tell you honestly where the cheaper tin costs you later
Questions
Straight answers
Do you paint outside in the winter?
Not when the weather says no. Exterior paint needs dry surfaces and a temperature range to cure properly, and this is the Northwest. We would rather move a date than hand you a finish that peels in a year.
Do I need to move the furniture?
Only what you would rather handle yourself. We move what is left, cover it, and put it back.
How many coats?
Two, over properly prepared and primed surfaces. Big colour changes sometimes need three, and we will tell you which it is before we start rather than after.
Can I supply the paint?
Yes. Tell us the brand and finish and we will work with it.
Do you fix the wall before painting it?
That is usually why we are there. Drywall repair, caulking and rot repair are part of the same visit — paint over an unfixed problem is just a delay.
